YoTrip-Words and Thoughts

A place and space for me to express my thoughts

Thursday Thinking by YoTrip for August 5, 2010-Losing To Gain (Vol.3, Iss.2)

Losing to Gain, Part 1

Have you ever loss a person, place, or possession? How did that sense of loss make you feel? Did you feel like you would never get over the loss of that person, place, or possession? Are you consumed with what you felt you have loss? Do you think it is possible to lose and gain? Is your loss too fresh, too new, too raw for you to realize its meaning? There are no “correct or right answers” to these questions, each person responds based on their experience with loss. Losing to gain is a concept, a notion, a viewpoint that requires an introspective journey to healing your feelings and moving past the pain. Losing to gain is best examined by the elements it contains: loss of people, loss of places, and loss of possessions.

Encountering loss, experiencing loss, or evaluating loss has been a “hot topic” of discussion. What are your thoughts on the idea of loss? Give me some feedback.
