In the game of life, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Sometimes you wanna cry and sometimes you play the fool.
It is important to understand that winners must see the triumph in reaching the top but must also understand the cost to stay there. Do you have a winner’s attitude and altitude? Are you a winner just caught up in the power and control of winning? Do you see that once you finish celebrating your win, then it is time to do the work? Is winning the end all and be all for you?
Those who lose must see the triumph of losing as a chance to fuel their desire to work hard, stay the course and try again. Losing is a temporary station, not a permanent destination. Do you have a loser’s attitude and altitude? Are you a losers caught up in pity parties and doom wrapped in gloom? Do you see that once you finish mourning the loss, then it is time to mobilize, motivate, and make it happen? Is losing the end all and be all for you?
Consider this: winners and losers both face challenges but it is the path that each decides to take that will make the difference. Winners are challenged to do the work to stay the course. Just like the lyrics in the songs winners want their name to stay in lights forever. Some winners come to see that their forever is short lived because they did not work to stay, or stay to work. Winners can have the greatest win and lose it all. Losers are challenged to do the work to get on course, they must realize the tables will turn and they will eventually win. Losers must hold on, be strong and wait on their time to win. Losers can have the worse loss and win it all.
