YoTrip-Words and Thoughts was created in July 2008 by Yolanda ”YoTrip” Triplett. YoTrip-Words and Thoughts is an inspirational offering that seeks to Aspire, Inspire, and Motivate the masses. YoTrip-Words and Thoughts is a tri-weekly offering of short “YoTripism” that tickles your fancy with a play on words. YoTrip-Words and Thoughts has also birthed “Tuesday Thoughts by YoTrip” and “Thursday Thin…king by YoTrip” which are all found within her two blogs.

In 2011, Yolanda was given the distinguished honor of being named the “2011 Writer of the Year” by the Orlando Renaissance Writer’s Guild, Inc. For Yolanda this recognition speaks volumes to what her peers of accomplished writers and budding lovers of the written word think about her ability to deliver quality Words and Thoughts to the masses. The Orlando Renaissance Writer’s Guild has been a place of resource, networking and growth for Yolanda and her love for writing. As a member of the Orlando Renaissance Writer’s Guild,Inc.,  Yolanda has been influenced, impacted and inspired.Yolanda’s true passion is writing, writing and writing, she is a published poet, contributing writer for several publications, to include STRUT! The Magazine and Built To Prosper. Yolanda hopes to publish the first of many books in the near future.

Yolanda has been blessed to be  the co-host of an empowering internet radio show since December 2010: The Dr. Loretta Faith Harris Radio Show, Triumphant Living which airs on 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s from 6:30p.m.-7:00 p.m. (EST). Yolanda brings her unique style to her “Significantly Speaking” segment, which she focuses on people, places, and possessions that make an impact in our world. Yolanda is a presenter with the Developing The Business Professional workshop.

Yolanda is an advocate and champion for youth and community services in the Central Florida area.Yolanda is a life-long learner that loves to gain more knowledge and share it with others. Yolanda has worked with various youth and mentoring groups for the last 13 years. As a mentor and board member with T.I.M. Works, Yolanda has been with this organization since its inception. Pouring into the life of young people, is a primary reason for Yolanda’s desire to be actively involved with the youth. Working with the youth allows Yolanda to help leave a legacy of hope and help for our next generation of leaders.

When Yolanda is not working in her community making a difference she is a dedicated Public Administrator with Orange County Government, and enjoys working with the public to help ensure safety and code compliance. A native of Augusta,Georgia, Yolanda is a “true Georgia Peach” that is proud to be connected to those who are closest to her heart Marian, her Mother, siblings Greta and William, and her favorite niece and nephew, Sydney and Quinton. For Yolanda, family and friends are so important and often are a feature in her inspirational writings.
