We Are All On Borrowed Time
The moment we make our first appearance in this world our life clock starts winding down. Every moment, second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year is critical, yet so often we take our time here on earth for granted. No one is privy to their end date, it resides in the hands of the Father, and so you are charged with enjoying your time as it comes.
Your born on day is a joyous time for all who are awaiting your arrival. The beginning of your life is full of newness and sets the course for your life’s journey. The hands of time are moving quickly with each breathe you take. The profoundness of time is that all who live are given it as a gift, but each allocation is set and measured uniquely for the individual.
The bridge between your time of birth and your time of death maybe short and eventful or it may be long and low key, it is all borrowed. It is the time spent on the bridge of life, which speaks to the essence of who you are or how the world perceives you. The question of how does your bridge look rarely hits home until a family member, friend, co-worker, or acquaintance time on the bridge of life is abruptly ended.
The untimely death of the young or those who are seemingly well or others can send a shock to your system. The departure from the bridge of life and borrowed time is both a wake-up call and an indicator that life is the prelude to death. As surely as you are born to live, you are destined to live to die.
How are you managing your borrowed time? Are you taking for granted you time on your bridge of life? Have you experienced the calling card of untimely death in your life and decided to live, laugh and love well? Use your borrowed time wisely.

“What Is Standing In Your Way?”
It is so easy to look at what is happening around you and be critical or opinionated. You have countless excuses to place the blame on any and everyone but yourself. So often YOU forget that when YOU point your finger at others the thumb is pointing at you. Are YOU standing in your own way and unable to move forward?
YOU have to decide that in order to move forward, move on, and move up…YOU have to step aside. The longer you stand in your way, the longer it will take to get to your destination. Stop making excuses for being stuck and start exercising you soul toward your achieving your goals. Take steps forward and when YOU feel yourself standing in your way, let your determination and drive push you to become your best YOU.~~YoTrip
***Today in Black History***

John Arthur “Jack” Johnson remains one of the more colorful figures in boxing history. He became the first Black world heavyweight champion on December 26 1908, defeating Tommy Burns on the fourteenth round. He would lose only five of ninety seven professional fights.Success did not come easy for Johnson. Flamboyant and prone to daliances with White women, his very presence was known to cause White-driven race riots. He was considered one of the most hated men in America during his career. Eventually, the Mann Act–which made it illegal to transport a woman from one state to another for the purposes of an “immoral” act–was used to chase him into exile and away from boxing for a time.
It is worth noting that on April 18 1922 a John A Johnson received patent #1418121 for the wrench. It appears that these are the same men; however, I am not sure.
Years after his death, he would be elected in the Hall of Fame as a charter member. He is considered by many to be the greatest boxer in his weight class of all time.
